This book is about a bot named Alem, and he doesn't have a country. His parents are both from different countries which are at war with each other. Since these two places are at war, neither country is accepting enough to let Alem's family stay in that country. Alem's father leaves him alone in england to fend for himself. This starts the process of the London Refugee Council to help Alem find a foster family, friends, and a school. After a while in england Alem decides that he likes it there and he also receives legal permission to stay in england. This book is heart touching to me. At first it was kind of sad, but that's what urged me on to keep reading. Even though this isnt a book about drama, or chick-flicks, and even though it wasnt something that I wold've recommended at first, this really is a great book and i recommend it to anyone to read! It's a book that really makes people realize what they have and to be thankful for what they have.
Mia I really like your interpretation of this book it shows that you're really enjoying it. I might even take a peek at the book for myself because I can't resist a good piece of literature!
